
| Best Multiple Retailer in the Retail Cheese Awards 2008
Leading regional retailer Booths has scooped a top national cheese award.
Booths claimed the title of best multiple retailer for the cheese counter at its Lytham Haven Road store at The Retail Cheese Awards, a competition sponsored by Dairy Crest in conjunction with The Grocer magazine. Booths was up against tough competition in the final from supermarket chains Waitrose and Morrisons.

| CAMRA's Best Large 'Real Ale in a Bottle' Retail Chain 2008 Booths has been presented with the ‘Best Large Retailer Award’ at the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) Real Ale in a Bottle Retailer Awards 2008.
Booths was up against tough competition from entrants from all sectors of the retail industry and was one of only three retailers to win a national award.

 | International Wine Challenge Awards NW Merchant of the Year 2008
Booths is celebrating after winning a top award at the International Wine Challenge Awards. Booths was presented with the prestigious title - North West England Regional Merchant of the Year 2008. The awards were open to supermarkets, agents, on-trade suppliers, mail order, on-line, independent and high street retailers throughout the region.
Booths was assessed by the IWC’s judges on its variety of wine, customer service, store layout, point of sale material, promotional material, marketing campaigns, online promotions and innovation. |

Booths was praised for the quality of its offer, its focus on local sourcing and its head for innovation, as well as for its excellent customer service, knowledge of products and friendly staff. |

Booths was presented with this title in 2005 and 2006 in the Re:fresh awards. The awards very quickly became one of the leading fresh produce industry events of the year.

 | CAMRA's Best Retail Award 2005
It isn’t just our wines which have achieved award winning status. The beers have also followed suit, after Booths was voted CAMRA’s Best Retail Chain 2005 in its inaugural Real Ale in a Bottle award. Retailers were judged, by representatives from CAMRA’s Awards Committee, on the range of bottle-conditioned products available, the way in which they sell the beer, innovations in promoting Real Ale in a Bottle, helpfulness of staff and value for money.

 | ‘Big Tick’ Business in the Community, 2005
Booths was awarded the Post Office Rural Action Award at Business In the Community's Awards for Excellence 2005. The award held in association with the department for Environment Food and Rural Affairs was given in recognition of Booths' commitment to sourcing fresh products from the four counties of Lancashire, Cheshire, Yorkshire and Cumbria. Booths was reaccredited with the award in 2006.
